Training Policy

TRAINING POLICY

OVERVIEW

In today’s ever-changing marketplace, the importance of job training has never been greater. Workforce training is an indispensable way to keep an organization competitive and to strengthen the skills their workforce already possesses, as well as build knowledge where it is lacking. Conducting training on an ongoing basis helps maintain team cohesion, the creation of a common mindset, and a shared vocabulary. Kredit Financial Inc. (Kredit) firmly believes in the benefits of providing training for its employees and has developed its training program accordingly.

PURPOSE

This Policy has been created to formally establish the requirements of Kredit’s training program

POLICY

It is the policy of Kredit to provide training to its employees on an annual basis.

SCOPE

This Policy is applicable to all Kredit employees.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Kredit’s Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is responsible for developing and administering training content that is current and relevant to the activities and services offered by Kredit and retaining evidence of completed training for audit purposes. The CCO is also responsible for reviewing this Policy on an annual basis.

Kredit’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for notifying the CCO of any staffing changes, including the onboarding of new employees, changes in an employees’ role, and termination of existing employees.

PROCEDURES

Kredit utilizes a web-based training platform, TalentLMS, to deliver training content to its employees on an annual basis. Kredit’s training program includes the following courses:

  • Security Awareness

    • Passwords

    • Data Handling

    • Computer Theft

    • Phishing and Ransomware

    • Removable Media

    • Vishing

    • Internet Downloads

    • Wi-Fi

  • Acceptable Use Policy

  • Code of Conduct Policy

Employees have thirty (30) days from course assignment to complete their assigned training. If an employee fails to complete the training within the required timeframe, the CCO will notify the CEO for further handling.

COMMUNICATIONS

This Policy shall be communicated to all affected employees via email and maintained in the Employee Policy Repository folder on Google Drive for reference purposes.

CONTROL

The CCO shall run a report from TalentLMS on the first business day following the 30-day completion date to ensure all employees have completed the assigned training within the required timeframe.
